Dance workshop, dress rehearsal and performance R·ONDE·S
For active dance enthusiasts, this could be the outstanding experience of the summer: On 19 and 20 June at 7 pm, you can be part of the R·ONDE·S dance performance by French star choreographer Pierre Rigal on the Erzplatz at the Völklingen Ironworks!
In R·ONDE·S, everything revolves around the ancient dance figure of the circle. It makes it possible to communicate directly with each other through constant glances or physical contact. Everyone adopts this familiar dance figure and moves to the same rhythm. Professional dancers allow us to rediscover the Völklingen Ironworks through this universal and timeless ritual.
Workshops 1, 2 and 3 build on each other. The plan is for participants to attend one workshop per week, repeat the dance figures at the dress rehearsal and then, of course, take part in at least one and preferably both performances.
